Accommodation:
The Academy will introduce you to local families who offer friendly home-stay accommodation. A number of local families have offered boarding to nanny students for many years. 

IT & Library:
Four computers are available for students use + broadband internet for research. Data projector for DVD and PowerPoint presentations. A library of specialist books, videos and cassettes is available to students and staff

Refreshments:
The Academy has good facilities to prepare lunches and hot drinks.

The Whangaparaoa Peninsula has many beautiful beaches and is home to the Shakespear Regional Park with great tramping and awesome scenery.

The bright lights of Auckland are 30 minutes drive away.

Identification Cards:
All students are issued with student ID cards at the start of the course.

Cultural Advisor:
The Academy has a specialist cultural advisor to help us meet the needs of Maori students and who can also provide support and help. We welcome Pacifika students and those from all cultures and backgrounds. We will provide all the help you need to feel comfortable and learn at the Academy.

End of Course Function:
At the end of the course a function will be held for students family and friends. The cost of the function for students is included in their course fees; others will be required to pay. Dress is semi-formal
