This course qualifies
you to be a professional nanny here and overseas. It’s for
you if you enjoy in depth learning and aim to be the best.
You will attend classes which will give you an
understanding of child development and your role as an early
childhood educator. You get fun practical experience on work
placement with three different families, as well as in an
early childhood centre and a school. Graduates gain time off an early childhood
teaching degree so it's a great choice if you might work as qualified early childhood teacher later on.
The course is full-time and lasts 36 weeks.
Applicants under 20 need
to have completed NCEA Level 2.
